Huckleberry Pie
Simple, share us your thoughts about Internet slang...
Jared
My thoughts? It should say to use on the internet only, and shouldn't become an international language. I've even seen some schools around this area use internet slang on there school billboard, how professional is that?!

Spaz The Great
And "owned" isn't even 1337, because 1337 isn't really the words used, but the way you type them.

Yeah, you're right, it wouldn't be like the picture above when Harry Truman laughingly presented a newspaper showing leetspeak - TOMMY VERCETTI DEFEATS HARRY TRUMAN and stuff like that... Sherman
lolwut r u guyz tlkn bout, wut iz 1337 sp3ak? It's alright, as long as you don't overdo it or use it IRL. Like, in health class.. the teacher said "penis" and this girl goes "EL OH EL"..... just.. too much.

Kitsune Inferno
I'll only use the term, "pwn3d." Anything else I consider the spawn of zombie-esque fucktards whose brains have been surgically removed and replaced with modems.
Slayer
Well I'm not really a fan of it, it's fun to use when having fun sometimes, but I see people taking it too far, just as Sky said, saying "LOL" irl. I get an impression they don't have anything better to say then.
Dazza
I use "Own3ed" and "Pwned" but that's it...
Silberio
I used to tak like U instead of you, r instead of are, stuff like that, but not kinda "hardcore" like "w00t ur teh LOLOL h4xrz1!1!!!!!11" Now, i've learned...to use something called GRAMMAR...at least something...anyway'a, i dont like that anymore, i find it more like...um...annoying. Red_91
Sometime I use 'LOL' but I am starting to stop, nothing else really sometimes 'ROFL'
Gycu
I often use lol, rofl or lmao ... But only those, probably other few words but that`s it ... Edit: LOL Internet slang - wikipedia Edited June 23, 2007 by Gycu Brun

Urbanoutlaw
Net slang makes sense for text messaging, but that's about it. I have a full size keyboard & screen so I stick to plain English. I don't have R2D2 to translate for me, so I'm guessing at a lot of what people are saying. Sometimes I can BS my way through it & some times you you catch me. The Bossman
I hate it, I really do. It's utterly, utterly pointless and so hard to fuckin* understand. I prefer to stay grammatically correct in the words I type. Edited June 24, 2007 by the bossman
Silberio
Yeah, I hate it too. Its just so annoying, also, (By the way) when they write with just a lot of smilies on Hotmail/MSN. I gotta be either guessing, or clicking on each smiley, often because they just make no sense, OR they dont load in me' computer.
Harwood Butcher
I personally find the whole "Leet Speak" very pathetic.
