DBturbo
If you are thinking of buying the ps3 version of GTA4 what would you like to see the sixaxis controller be used for or would be cool if it was used for. I think it would be fun with the driving helicopters and cars. What to you think.

DBturbo
A tricky thing... aiming with the sixaxis Ive just bought a ps3 and i am only just getting to grips with the controller and what it can do. I reakon the wii controllers are probably better for aiming and shooting but the wiis never going to see the daylight of GTA4 so theres no point continuing. MrLlamaLlama
WTF. Wii controllers... PROBABLY better? There's no fucking competition, wii's motion sensing pisses all over sixaxis, several times a week day hour minute second... And wii's never to see IV? Do you not read the news that gets posted on the front page... 'Nintendo have done everything in their owert o persuade T2 to bring IV to the wii' - or something to that effect. And... no point continuing about sixaxis, you turned into bitching at the wii for 'never seeing' GTAIV... So there is point in continuing. IMO, It might be a good feature to use for stuff like, y'know, if you get power bars (kinda thing), like you have to shake the controller to build up the bar. Example... Niko has a pair of wire cutters, and he's trying to break a lock open, and the harder you sahake the controller, the more force is applied, if you don't apply enough force, or build up enough, you either get caught, or shot, or w/e.. and don't pass the mission. Spaz The Great
A tricky thing... aiming with the sixaxis How would you aim with motion sensing? That would be impractical as hell. Not only that, but it would be used just for the sake of using the feature. Helicopter flight would probably be the best candidate for it.
GTA Don
I think it would be good for flying a helicopter too.
Swifty
Helicopter flight would probably be the best candidate for it. I agree, I think helicopter flight is a bit fiddly as is & is the only aspect of the game that would genuinely benefit from the sixaxis feature. Saying that of course the new game could throw up a few suprises...
Wheelman101
ok, somebody explain this sixaxis, well, if your talking about flying a heli with the ps3 controllers, isnt it just like the ps2, so wouldnt it be just like SA?
Dirty Harry
I'd say Sixaxis should be used for flying helicopters too. But the Sixaxis is pure failure.
The Bossman
As MrLlamaLlama said, for breaking locks and such, the only decent possible option I think. If not, leave it out altogether, it really isn't worth the trouble of ruining the control system, which works superbly.
Spaz The Great
ok, somebody explain this sixaxis, well, if your talking about flying a heli with the ps3 controllers, isnt it just like the ps2, so wouldnt it be just like SA? They're speaking of the tilt control aspect of it. How is breaking locks and such by shaking the hell out of your controller a better option over helicopter flight? I assure you, the technique sounds good in general, but wait until you have to actually use it. I've had to do similar things on the Wii, in tiny little bursts it's okay at best. After that it becomes bothersome to your hand, and that's with ONE hand in use. Shake a SIXAXIS, significantly more irritating to the hands. Wheelman101
well, thanks there spaz, i think it would be cool, say if you had to shake the shit out of your controller, but wouldnt that also damage it? yes you can do it lightly, but after a while, like on the Ps2, had vibration and such, but after a while, the stupid weights broke off and damaged the insides of the controller. for breaking into a car having a light shaking yes, flying, FACK no. Spaz The Great
I'm still trying to figure out why breaking locks seems a better use than flying helicopters((not planes, really, that would be a tad harder)). Maybe because I've had experience with that type of control scheme, and realize it becomes bothersome.
Swifty
I do think the sixaxis would really help with the Hunter in particular, sometimes piloting it & firing weapons was a like a mini game of twister.

Chris
Well, what most current PS3 games use it for; Controlling aircraft (both planes and helicopters) - tilting both x and y axis Leaning left and right when needing to look round a corner

Eventually you should be able to use the sixaxis to stear without thinking, this will free up your digits for more important things, such as changing the radio station or weapons fire. Connor
u should be able to finger girls pussys and shake the ps3 controller when doing it Ah, there isn't much need for that is there? I won't be getting a PS3, but I think that driving will be a fun thing with the SIXAXIS..

I would also make the game compatible for dualshock when it comes back.
Red_91
Theres really no point in talking about the Sixaxis anymore since next year the DualShock 3 willbe released in the Uk and in the states, don't know if the rumble feature will be in IV but it could be. Though it could be too late.
