Am I the only one who is noticing an abundance of really pointless topics made just to make topics? I'm surprised there isn't a topic about "what color your socks

are" yet, or "what time is it right now?".....

Well, technically, pointless topics are suppose to go in Fun and Offtopic, where post count doesn't increase, and I guess that means you don't get money, either. I know at least 1 little n00blet was posting a bunch of random topics in General Discussion and having them moved to the Fun section cause that meant they still got their post count from it. Hehe. Half-clever.

Technically, Lounge is for chatting - how people are, whats going on in your life, anything you want to talk about, anything interesting you want to show us, any general questions you have. That doesn't include millions of crappy topics as Spaz describes.

Fun & Off Topic is for a few popular forum games and random topics. But there should be a limit, the line should be drawn somewhere.

I thought I posted that in Forum Fun & Off-Topic, oh well.

Anyway, I do agree that some of these topics can get pointless despite some of these being quite interesting, such as this topic. Also some of the topics look for you posting your description such as "What hairstyle do you have?" and some topics that you can tell people what you have done such as "Things you don't know about people" and other stuff what involves something you own or something your family owns such as "What rules do you have in your house?". I don't think any of these are pointless except from a few what have been closed recently such as "Mod Elections" what I thought was spam from Hazer. Every topic has or had a reason apart from the odd one saying "hehehehe" in the main post as I seen recently in a topic somewhere.

We've all had our fair share of making "pointless" topics. I have made one this year but it later went off-topic therefore it turned into a pointless topic, Hell I didn't even mind Osiris' humorous post .

Honestly, I find it funny that this sort of thing would bug you or cause you to make a topic about it. If members want to make pointless topics then I don't see how that really effects you much. I never see you post topics in here anyways. I mean if they make advertising topics for porn sites then I'd understand your arguement, but if they're making topics that are getting post then I don't find them pointless because they are causing members to be more active.

When did I say that this topic "bugs" me??? I wasn't suggesting to you that you need to stop being bothered by their topics, I was simply curious as to why they would bother you being that you rarely go into this section.
