I think if they ask you that question, you're supposed to act like you aren't from Grove Street, then they won't attack you. It's same with the Triads, I believe or possibly other gangs. Ballas-Crips Because the Crips were strong like the Ballas and they lost their power when their leaders started dying. Varios Los Aztecas-Venice 13 Hated the Crips (ballas) and lost it territory, just like Varios Los Aztecas. Los Santos Vagos-Mara Salvatrucha 13 (MS 13) Strong, alot of members, alot of body tatoos, just like the Vagos. Triads-Chinese Triads Triads in-game, Triads in real life. Yes, the game creators did get their ideas from Los Angeles street gangs but that doesn't mean they have to be Crips and Bloods. Cryptic Slayer is right about which gang is which in real life. Grove Street's gang sign is just like the blood's gang sign in real life. and the same with the ballaz gang sign is just like the crips in real life. the aztecas are either Surenos, MS-13, or Mexican Mafia. which Surenos and MS-13 both are allied with Mexican Mafia, because the number 13 is the letter M. M is the 13 letter in the alphabet. the triads are the real life chinese triads. da nang gang are the veitnam mafia. the vagos are the vicelords or latin kings, because their colors are gold or yellow. the game creators did add a few additions to the game to resemble real life gangs.
