I would highly suggest you get both vc and sa, but if money is tight, go for san andreas, because the amount of things you can do after you complete the game. gta III isnt so bad either. These games sell for 25 - 30 dollars each at my local wal-mart. Try to get pc versions if you can for online multiplayer.

No, there was a player for the gta games on xbox, as far as i can remember. As for DLC, i would much rather have other things (such as new weapons, clothes, cars etc) than a track player. Its not high on my list.

lol yeah... i found myself spawning bikes at on the top and riding them off to compensate. Im dissapointed with the little amount of things to do after you complete the game. They should have kept in car customization, as well as adding split screen multiplayer.

I think you know more about the ps3 than i do, i was just looking at the settings of the ps3 and found out that you can install another os on another partition, and that was about 30 min ago . I might try installing ubuntu on it, even though ill probably have more fun with the idea of having another os on the system than i will with games.

Like the title says, im wondering if there is a way to view web pages and flash files offline on the ps3. I have my flash games saved on my mp3 player, and i pluged it into the ps3 via the USB ports. I know that i can use the files on my psps memory stick by typing in file://<path> into the web browser, but the ps3 is more of a convienience because of its mouse and keyboard suport, and the fact that its much faster than the ps3. i cant find anything about the ps3 though. If anyone knows how, could you please post?

hey thanks for posting. i guess ill have to try out that mission again soon. i just thought it was glitching because after doing the mission a few times, the buildings started dissapearing and reappearing. i dont know about anyone else, but my game has started being a bit buggy since i got it... thanks for leting me know my game isnt screwed up. EDIT: Ok... i just found out that my game was a bit glitched, thats why it was not only hard to do the mission, but IMPOSSIBLE. after i did a whole bunch of missions for the families and bernie, i tried it out again, and noticed two things different: 1. Jacob and Niko were actualy talking in the helicopter this time 2. Jacob fired the rpg three times, hitting the helicopter the third time, instead of only firing the rpg once, like before.

I agree 100%. at first, i wasnt sure about the driving, because i was still used to san andreas. But as i started getting used to having to slow down before i turn, it rapidly became more enjoyable. After driving for a while, i started to learn to use the ebrake, and now i can drive no problem. To all the people that have trouble with sliding sideways into walls, try applying the gas at the climax of the turn, instead of just holding a deathgrip on the brake. It will greatly reduce the amount of times you slam into buildings. And just remember: Just because R* made the driving more realistic, (realistic meaning "closer to real life"), it doesnt make it "bad".

Im having trouble with this mission, the one where you follow that helicopter and jacob pulls the rpg (forget what the missions called). I dont know if my games glitching or what, but ive tried that mission about 11 times, and jacob keeps missing, even though about 3 times it looked as thought the rocket went right through the chopper. Is there any strategy that i can use for this mission to make it easier? I try to get as close to the chopper as i can, but its tough. Any help is appreciated.

I think its funny though, because i only did that first date with her, and just kind of ignored her ever since. When that mission came around and Nikko was all pissed when he found out, i was just kind of thinking, why do you care? you barely even talked to her!

Hopefully R* can include it in an update? Because no car customization is kind of dissapointing. It was one of the main things i looked forward to for GTA IV. Yes you can change the color of your car, but only by using a pay and spray.

Nice. The more i drive around in IV, the more fun it is, because i keep getting better. It definitly lets you test your driving skillz in a franchise thats supposed to be based on driving. definitly a step up, because driving was too easy in the older games, and got kind of boring. R* just renewed the whole driving experience with (in my opinion), their best gta game.

I would have thought more people loved the game, but reading from your comments, more people seem dissapointed. i thought almost everything about the game was perfect, except for a few flaws, like when you stand on a car and it starts moving, niko seems to lose all control of his limbs, and kind of slides off the car. as for the new walking and driving physics, i LOVE them. they are way more realistic than previous gtas, and in my opinion is a huge step up. you only spin out if your accelerating as much as you can. you just have to learn to control the car, and let go of the gas when you see a turn comming up. start accelerating at the climax (much the same as real life), and you should be able to grip the road just fine. i say, great job overall Rockstar! i would probably rate this game a 97/100, the other 3% being for the minor flaws.

yeah... i dont know. it looks like something someone quickly whipped up in paint. not great. i dont believe that is going to be the real cover.

ahh what the hell... ill post mine, even though it isnt even on my own xbox (dont have my own yet): Demon Delight since its my friends 360, ill barely be on...

sure the 360 has an extended warranty, but does that really matter when you have to send in ur 360 for repairs the day before iv is released, and you friend will buy the game for ps3 and beat it before you even get your console back? i would rather have reliability than extended warrenty in the long run, so i think im going to get a ps3. and kirby, try checking out your local video rental store, most of them rent out consoles. (at least where i live).

yeah... i dont see how thats a glitch or crosshair. looks like the guns barrel if you ask me. if you dont think you should be able to see the barrel of a gun while someones firing it, i suggest you get a freind to shoot you in the face.

I will be stealing the vast majority of my cars in the game, but i think there should still be an option for buying cars, so i dont have to go wandering around the whole city looking for a certain car that barely respawns anywhere.

i like my games on consoles, because then i know all the games i buy will work. i dont have to make sure i have the right hardware or operating system to play them, or the need to install them. Dont get me wrong, pc games can be great, but i really only like pc games for modding. otherwise, for me, the console is easier to use, and always first on my list for gaming.

I dont really care to see any of the old characters return. The reason? I like the idea of gta iv being a fresh new start, and having old characters returning would defeat the purpose.

ahhh. big deal. i never cared for pay n sprays anyway. i think ive used pay n sprays in the gta series about 30 times in total, most of the time to change my cars color, and about 2 times to get rid of cops. i never really felt the need for them, so it wouldnt really affect me.
