i never really noticed the shotgun shot in a horizontal line, but then again, i never used it all that much... they sure are going all out in iv, fixing everything that they put into earlier games, while still adding new features. i sense another greatest hit in the future.

good call stl. pj, take a good look at everything else, not just one image you dont like. Take a look at more things and compare, you will see the difference sooner or later. also, look at some screenshots of IV, and you will notice more detailed lighting, Phisics, smoke, weather coditions, and surface reflections. The San Andreas multiplayer was a good start, but it was too limited. There needs to be more options to choose from, DM is just one of the many they could include. For multiplayer in gta IV, i at least hope they add split screen, and the ability for both players to drive cars simultaneously.

Links are much easier to use, thats why people request them I think it will be interesting to see how much more the peds can do in IV compared to previous games. i think it would be cool if pedestrians interacted more, by doing things that the player would normally only be able to do, such as use pay n sprays, order food, and even go on random killing sprees every so often. (until you blow their head off) EDIT:

I hated Driver parallel lines. I mean, who really wants to get caught up in a high speed pursuit for just simply going over a speed limit? if you ask me, thats going too far. I just hope gta IV wont go to that extent of "realism".

I put go for a friendly drive and explore the city, because i want to check out the new features of the game first, such as the new cars, physics, and other new features, as well as get used to the game, so when i do start doing missions, i wont be totaly lost, and i know my way around.

LCS didn't have cop bikes, that was only SA and VCS, confirmed by Noru. Cop bikes were not in any of the GTA games set in Liberty City, maybe this time "things will be different". Quote from Niko in the 1st trailer. Oops i see my mistake now. for some reason i thought San andreas came out after LCS when i posted that.

I didnt mind Saints Row at first, it was a good substitute at the time. However, i came to realize that the game did have new features compared to other games, but not anything i really cared about. Since Rockstar has done nothing but make good quality games, im sure gta IV will be even better. if your not sure though, i suggest you rent the game before you buy it.

Police bikes could very well be in gta IV, because they were included in the last two gta games Rockstar has released, but all the same, they might not be included, as they werent in the older versions of liberty. I hope they do have police bikes in IV, just not as many. It seemed like they were everywhere in San Andreas. I guess we will have to wait and see...

It shouldn't be a bother for me, 30 frames seems like a decent rate, i dont think it will be a problem for me. FYI, my pc runs WoW between 8-20 frames a second, and while im in cities it goes down to 2-4 frames, and dont mind. Im not worried about IV.

Gotta spend 100 hours playing something right, why not make it gtaIV NOT USE CHEATS?? U CRAZY!! Cheats are one of the main things i ever do in the gta games, and the cheats they put in the games keep on getting better and better. you will give in sooner or later Im the same for not completing gta games. i get too much into blowing things up, killing people, and exploring to do too many missions.

Rofl. why do you think it doesnt make sense to have seasons in gtaIV simply because its set in 2008? thats not a valid reason in my books. With your logic, the game should just suddenly end once you get to day 365

as far as im concerned, R* might have given sony the rights to exclusive content if not for the slow start of the ps3. Thats why, in my opinion anyway, the reason why gta IV is going to be released for both systems simutaneously, is because they realised they wouldnt sell as many copies of the game because of the ps3s lack of sales.

Indeed. it would just cause a downhill spiral for the good games out there, and after a while, there will be barely any fans because of the poor quality of the games. Bad idea on Take two's behalf.

Exactly how i feel. Death kind of dissapoints me, because in previous gtas, you work so hard doing missions and completing the storyline, and when you finaly beat the game everybody dies. i dont really like that, seems like a lost cause. i really would like a cliffhanger, so i know what to expect in thenext game, and so the games tie together, kind of like in the Resident Evil series.

im looking, not seeing. what are the similarities between the buildings in the gta iv screen and the wtc picture? i dont see what your comparing in those pictures, and as far as im concerned, none of those buildings look like the world trade centers at all. even though i cant see what your seeing, it still is something a lot of people are wondering about. i however, do not think that R* would put the towers in, as it would be in very bad taste if they did.
