None of the files hosted on TGTAP contain viruses. So you're safe downloading stuff mods from here, and indeed most other GTA sites.

May I just point out that you are in fact in INDIA, a pretty hot country, I don't think there's any need for you to be wearing a sweater is there? Also is this your gang? Do you go out and night and re-enact Grand Theft Auto scenes and do drive-by shootings and such?
-
Stay on topic please.

You fail horribly, actually. Agreed. While waiting for your pic to load I was expecting to see a Bus which was of shorter length than your typical city bus... but no, just some kid with a KFC bucket on his head. If your name was KFCBucketHead then yes you'd be living up to your name

Yeah you no longer have to be registered to use imagelodge, though of course it's recommended you are so you have control over all your uploaded stuff. On ImageLodge clicking in the text box would auto highlight all of it, however you'd still need to copy the text. Today though, I improved on this and it now automatically copies to your clipboard, so now you can use it more efficiently

Thanks to those who have responded so far. Surprised to see so many of you using photobucket. I'll be taking some of the things you lot said into consideration for ImageLodge, and some of the smaller changes I will definitely make. I'm sure there's more of you who regularly use image hosting so I'll be keeping this topic open for a few more days and will keep checking it every now and then for new replies.

Just doing a quick unscientific survey ready to get a bit of information on your image host of choice and why you use it etc, would be grateful if you could answer some questions. If you don't regularly make use of free image hosts then there's probably not much point in you replying, but otherwise, go ahead. 1. What image host do you tend to use the most? (e.g. imageshack, photobucket, imagevenue, bayimg etc.) 2. Why do you use this particular host? (e.g. it has a feature that no one else does? explain briefly why you don't use another site) 3. What are generally the sort of images you host there? (e.g. sigs/avatars? personal photos? or just anything for posting on forums? etc.) 4. Is there anything you dislike about the image host you currently use? (slow to load? bombarded with ads/popups? can't easily get links to the pics for showing friends, or posting in a forum? limits aren't very big? etc.) 5. Would you be willing to start using a different image host if it had some decent features? That's all. Would appreciate any responses that could be helpful to me. As you may well be aware I do own a small image host (currently linked in my sig) - it initially started out a few years ago as a little project for me to improve my coding skills, but over the past few months I've developed a number of great new features for it and I think it could be worth promoting a bit and getting it more popular etc. This topic is obviously related to it, and a topic about imagelodge's revamp and relaunch will be made soon, in which I'll describe everything in more depth and why it could be useful for you and you can ask questions. For now though, a short little survey. Thanks.

Yeah when I built this thing I had XP MCE 2005 which was pretty awesome. But after a couple of months it kept randomly crashing and since I'd just got a new gfx card that supports DX10 I thought fuck it, might as well reformat and get Vista on this thing. So I did. And it's been great so far. Vista has crashed just once on me, and was probably my fault anyway - seriously as long as you know a bit about computers and configure shit correctly then Vista will be fine. Don't believe all the MS haters who say it crashes all the time and nothing works etc. it's just not true
-
Fuck yeah! My current desktop which will be different in 30 seconds matches my avatar right now so I will post it.
-
Well the random post topic still is. A lot of people seem to like it though. I figured the ones who don't can just ignore it. As long as the stupidness is kept in that particular topic and doesn't spread to other parts of the forum I'm fine with it.

I don't wanna be seen as a killjoy here but seriously I think this topic is really retarded now. I don't get what fun you find in typing like a noob. It makes you yourself look one even though you're just fucking around. So that you all don't RAAAAGGGE at me, how about I close this shite and re-open the random post topic? At least people typed normally in there... generally.

JESUS FUCKING CHRIST Same. I always have a hot woman as my background, and I have a widget that changes it every XX seconds so I never get bored Of course I want to see it, so I only have 3 icons, Computer, Chris, and Recycle Bin. My Quick Launch has the apps I use all the time, and of course the start menu shows the apps I use the most so I can get anything I want open pretty quick. So yes, I would post my desktop, but then in 30 seconds time it would be old

I wasn't here lately because...
Chris replied to Do_Not_Fear_cause_I'm_here's topic in Members' Lounge
Ah thank God for that. I was living in fear because you weren't here all this time. -
When R* actually announced the GTA Settlement website I was wondering just how many people were actually "affected" by the pixel porn fiasco. I'm guessing the 2,676 are all angry over-protective parents whose children are too young to play the game anyway. Anyone over 17/18 is surely mature enough to not give a shit about content like this in games, right?

Ha, from all the bday topics you made recently I would have thought one for your fellow countryman would have happened. But he himself beat you to it. Happy bday anyway even though I don't really know who you are
-
Now sobester, go and stand in the corner and think about what you've done. This thread made my lol though, thanks guys

Turn your speakers on. Sorry I had to No but seriously check they are actually plugged in. Perhaps you accidentally knocked your sound card out of its slot when installing your graphics card? Or the speakers aren't plugged into your sound card fully, or they're in the Mic jack or something?

Well answers.com is a pile of fail, why would someone go there for GTA help? We're also not going to do anything to decrease the activity of our forums. New members joining and posting is a good thing you know. The forums are here for people to ask questions, that's the point of them.

IPS has release candidates too, for IPB and all their other products. alpha is used when it's being tested internally, generally because it's still insecure beta is when a (usually) limited number of outsiders are also allowed to test it out. At this point the build is still not final and small features may still be added release candidate is exactly what it says - a candidate for release - these are always open to anyone to try out, and are basically the same as the final build of the product. no new features will be added from now on, the RC's are just to get widespread use and so more bugs can be found and fixed before the actual final build is released. This means the final build is more polished and bug free and it otherwise would have been.

Rockstar Games has released patches today for Grand Theft Auto IV for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. These patches fix the issues they have identified for each system, specifically multiplayer connectivity issues including freezes during certain modes, continuation when players leave matches, and bugs within races and race lobbies. Fixed an issue where players were unable to enter or exit vehicles in GTA Race. Fixed an issue where scripted vehicles were causing games to unexpectedly crash. Improved reliability and frequency of PS3™ online leaderboard updates. Fixed a rare hang some players encountered when moving from a Race or GTA Race lobby into gameplay. Fixed a hang that would occur when players were switching teams during the countdown in the lobby. Fixed an issue where players were able to get ridiculously high scores from Cops 'n Crooks matches. Changed GTA Race and Race so that the last player remaining always receives a reward of $250. Fixed an issue where spectating players would prevent the game from finishing. Fixed an issue where players were unable to spectate in Round 2 of Cops 'n Crooks games. Changed countdown timer in lobby so that it no longer resets when new players join a game. Changed the kick option so that kicked players are no longer brought back to single player. You'll be prompted to download the patch next time you're signed into Xbox Live or the PSN and start up GTA IV. Related Link: GTAIV Patches @ R* Social Club

I've actually read this somewhere before :/

You shouldn't get any popups while browsing TGTAP so it's possible you do have adware.
-
I'm pretty sure it also went to first person view. Wasn't until VC or SA that they made it so you can look around the player.
-
He's in America so it's still yesterday there Anyway happy birthday mate. You already got your present from me a few days earlier so I've got nothing for you now

Yeah you can play on the same console together with a guest account but you can't actually play online can you? All online players must have a gold account, no?
