Weird, the 1.1 patch allows for scm mods. The only thing the 1.1 blocks is memory hacking, so trainers, admin consoles, etc... won't work.

Well I'm looking at a GeForce FX 5500 as that seems to be the fastest PCI standard available and it's $85. But I will post a picture of my PC's motherboard tomorrow and see if there are any PCIe or AGP slots available.

I need a graphics card under $150 that has the following specs: 256MB of DDR-SDRAM Dual RAMDAC's at least 350MHz Core Clock Speed at least 275MHz At least 4 pixels per clock rendering engine At least 16 textures per pass It can be either nVidia or ATi. It can be any shop but it has to be PCI. Not PCI Express or AGP. Thanks for the help.

Perhaps you didn't install the drive correctly. Also check the SA DVD rom for scratches. If other DVDs work in that drive like a movie for example, you know it's the SA disc. If another DVD doesn't work, it's the drive.

You need IMG Tool 2.0 and the mod. Open up gta3.img in IMG Tool and replace the files in there with ones in the mod.
