  1. In your data folder (i think it's that folder) there is a file called handlin.cfg. Open it in Notepad and the cars are listed with data that corresponds, then do what your readmes say.
  2. Yeah, thanks mate. It was a great help to me finding all of the hidden packages in Vice City.
  3. You have to go to the side of the building and climb the ladder. Run along the building until the warehouse explodes. Mission Passed.
  4. If you want to obtain a Squalo without activating Checkpoint Charlie, there are three ways to accomplish this: 1. Complete the mission "The Fastest Boat". Once the mission has been completed, the Squalo will be docked at the back of Ricardo Diaz's mansion, at the jetty/pier. At that point, you can comandeer the Squalo and drive it wherever you want to go and do whatever you want with it. 2. Kill Lance Vance in the mission "Supply & Demand" after the cutscenes have finished. This will fail the mission, however, the Squalo will be sitting there, ready for you to pilot. 3. If you have purchased the boatyard, get into the Squalo, and then quickly exit it as soon as you enter it. Once you enter the Squalo again, it hopefully shouldn't activate the side mission. As for the Jetmax, there are only two methods to do so: 1. Kill Rico in "Naval Engagement, as soon as you reach Starfish Island. This will fail the mission, however, the Squalo will be sitting there, ready for you to pilot. 2.If you have purchased the Boatyard, get into the Jetmax, and then quickly exit it as soon as you enter it. Once you enter the Jetmax again, it hopefully shouldn't activate the side mission.
  5. Those two missions are in ine top ten for "hardest missions in GTA Vice City". You need to practice those missions a lot before you can become fluent in them and easily complete them.
  6. I know, those Haitians are so damn annoying, the way they always shoot at you as soon as you set foot on their turf, regardless of what you are wearing, what car you are driving, and whether you are armed or not.
  7. Overwrite your ViceCity\data\main.scm then start a new game. You have to start a new game or you'll get an error. Simply, just overwrite the old file, but you have to start a brand new game, as it won't work if you load up a saved one, as it still uses data from the previous version of the game, and not the modified version of the game.
  8. There is no gore code or gore cheat for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. However, on my opinion, GTA Vice City already has enough gore, as you can already shoot peoples heads off or cut them off with a Katana, and you can make blood shoot out of people's bodies. But limbs cannot be severed though, which sucks. The only way to make GTA Vice City gorier than it already is is to install some gore mods, which can be found on the internet, and sometimes even on this site.
  9. VCMM stands for Vice City Mod Manager It is used to easily install .vcm mods into Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
  10. Have You got any other mods that alter the game's script? If yes, you will have to remove it somehow, or just uninstall GTA Vice City and then reinstall it for a fresh version, then reinstall GTA Long Night...
  11. You will need certain mods and certain software to achieve that.
  12. Simple solution: Download a "adding extra cars to vice" tutorial by DiCanio. It helped many other people, so it might help you.
  13. Does that piece of dialogue actually exist? I have never heard of it and i do not ever recall hearing it.
  14. Sorry buddy, but I think you may have posted this post in the wrong topic. This is about general GTA VC discussion, not mod and/or hack discussion.
  15. Simple solution, buddy. You just uninstall the game and then reinstall it. That way, everything will be back to normal without the need to do numerous trial and error experiments.
  16. Other than the easter egg room, there are no "secret areas" of Vice City that I know of. From what I have heard, you can only get "secret areas" by hacking and modding. And Taime, please provide either proof, description or a photograph of your "secret area". That way, we know you aren't lying.
  17. Colonel Cortez, 'coz he's cool, and because of his daughter.
  18. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City by far!! Out of all the games listed, it has the best characters, best storyline, best gameplay, better guns, better cars, more boats and pilotable helicopters.
  19. Yeah, there's an audio extractor in the downloads section here, and on various sites all over the internet.
  20. Damn, I really hate the Leone Family. After killing Salvatore, St Mark's is a death zone for me. Those mafia guys are armed with shotguns that can blow up a car in three or so shots. And the cops don't even give a crap about them!! What sucks even more is how the cops pay no attention to gangs walking around with pistols, uzis, and shotguns. However, crash into a police cruiser, you get Five-O on your tail. One of the major things that just wrecks the game for me.
  21. That is a cut mission. I have played Grand Theft Auto III and I have never encountered any related mission similar to or like that. Also, those guys are Yakuza gangsters, who probably broke into his mansion while Salvatore, Toni, Joey and the Leones were having that meeting.
  22. You can't crouch and/or take cover in GTA III and it didn't have much guns. Also, the graphics are pretty sucky. Alo, you couldn't swim, and the only plane you could fly was some crappy Dodo which didn't even have proper wings and didn't fly properly. Also, there wasn't much cars, wasn't much boats, no motorcycles or bicycles, no clothing changes and no eating.
