The usual problem is one of your mods not being installed correctly. The game works fine, but when it tries to load the broken car, it crashes. You need to go through your GTA3.img file and make sure there is both a TXD and DFF for every car you have replaced. If one is missing, that is your problem. If that is all fine, check the handling and carcols and everything. If all that doesn't work, and everything seems fine, try restoring the backups that you SHOULD have made when you were modding the game. If you didn't make any backups, then you'll end up having to reinstall the game.

You can make cars that are Right Hand Drive, but it is a lot harder to make ALL cars go on the Left. You would have to edit all the car paths for everything. The easiest way of doing it would be to rotate every car by 180degrees and make their speed negative, but I don't think that has ever been done, because there are too many problems (coming out of entrances, as well as things like traffic lights, signs and markings being on the wrong side of the road). Would be better to totally rewrite the car paths, which would take a while.

Have you replaced an existing wheel or added a new one? The text for all the existing ones will probably be in /text/American.GXT (which you can edit with a GXT editor). If you have added one, there won't be anything in the GXT file for that wheel.

No, uploading mods is currently disabled. This was done due to a few restrictions we had to impose. No word on when they will come online again, but they definitely will someday soon. I daresay that next weekend would be the time it gets sorted.

You got a point? But this is a mint game. I played (as Dom) in co-op and I play regularly against my mate (who's good). I'm beating him about a quarter of the time now. Really is awesome. I just stand there revving up my lancer for about half an hour, then I notice he found the sniper rifle.. then I die.....

When did that happen? Last time I had it, it was still rather amazing. Must just be in the UK. About a year ago they added a "Z" to it and said it had a "new taste" but with no sugar. Turns out the "new taste" was disgusting and it just tastes like tainted water. The Z stands for Zero... as in Zero sugar. They have that with a lot of drinks, including Dr Pepper and Fanta. There's even the well-known Coke Zero now. These are separate drinks to the normal ones which still exist. It's just like you have Coke and Diet Coke; Pepsi and Diet Pepsi - you have Dr Pepper and Dr Pepper Z.

You can not add more cars/weapons/peds than already exist in the game. There are many reasons for this, and it can not be overcome. As for pedestrians, I've had a look around the data files, and you can change everything from their voices to their sexiness, but not their weapons. Probably because most peds don't carry guns?

That is completely wrong. A transvestite is someone who dresses up as the opposite sex. Nothing to do with being gay or wanting to be a woman. A transsexual is someone who (for one reason or another) wants to become the opposite sex. This is gender reassignment, and usually involves operations and various things. Not really. People believe that it is the Earth's Coriolis effect that forces the water round, because the earth is going faster closer to the equator. Because of this, supposedly in the northern hemisphere the south side of the toilet bown pushes the water west, and thus round clockwise (or the other way round, depending). The problem is probably that one of the mods isn't installed properly. Check the mods you've installed recently to make sure they all have both the dff and txd files in gta3.img, and that there aren't any lines missing from the handling or carcols or anything.

Why me every time? But seriously - just look in "tools" in the downloads database to see if there's something that might help - you should notice there is one called GTA Audio Editor (kind of a clue). This imports WAV files (I think) into the game. You could also translate the instructions, or download another mod that has an English readme.

Right on cue. MooMapper was the one I used for Vice City, but that hasn't been updated for San Andreas. The one everyone uses now is MEd - and there are screenshots and tutorials for that. To sum it up - you have to actually make the models in something else (eg SketchUp or Maya) but then MEd lets you place them ingame.

We don't like liars And if you need me to point out that he's just used a photoshop filter on the screenshots to make them look "cartoony" - and he doesn't even use the real IV logo. And not forgetting that the rest of the pictures are wrong too - that is the Statue of Liberty not the Statue of Happiness, and the Rockstar logo isn't even cornered properly.
