I was thinking the wanted system from the old GTAs is a little outdated now. They should have two wanted levels. One would represent the amount of heat coming down on you at that moment, and the other would represent how close your character was to being positively Identified for previous crimes. A full wanted level on the second meter would of course give you a wanted level on the first meter, the severity of which would be determined by the crimes for which you have been identified as a suspect. As you climb the ladder of organized crime, the chances of the police idenitifying you (the second wanted level) decreases since you can bribe them or have access to more safehouses or whatever. I think it would add new dimension to the game if, on the missions in which you just have to kill someone, you also had to think about how you were going to do it in order to avoid being caught by the cops.

your idea was good, and thats a cool idea. but it needs some rethinking. i think rockstar could take your idea and make it really cool. but it shouldnt be too much of a big thing or difference.

i would like to see a tractor or even more implements :coolthumbup:

there already is a tractor.

I dont know if anyone has already posted any of this , but a first person view mode when using guns would be nice, Something you can toggle on and off. Also more interaction with the pedestrians. Another thing that would be cool is if you could revisit the main story characters after you complete the game ( that is if they are still alive of course). :coolthumbup:

I think there should be a "legal meter." As in how you choose to do a mission, so if a mission requires you to have someone wacked, you can hire people to do the job for you. But the price of the hit would be very high so that you can't always have someone do the mission for you and also the success rate is not always 100% so if they fail and you have to do the mission yourself, it would be alot harder e.g more protection etc etc. There would for most of the time be a legal alternative to most missions. Also roughly 2/3 of the missions would require you to do the job yourself. Depending on how your legal meter is, other's would react differently to you, so if you are considered bad, as in doing a lot of illegal things, the police would be more likely to be in your area, so you'll be watched more constantly. Of course this "legal meter" is just how you appear to NPC's in the game, and not what you really are. The Mafia for example, has a very legal front, but behind closed doors they into extortion, prostitution etc etc. As a result if you are seen as a good person, you can make better deals and make more money that way. Alternatively you can be aggressive and use fear as your way of making better deals and money.

At the end of the game, there is not point of having to steal cars of the street because by the end of the game, you should be successful enough to buy your own cars and stuff, that is the point of the game right? In the end you could be a a Kingpin of major criminal activity, or you can be more legit with legit business', So you can be big in the cocaine business or be big by being an entrepeneur(sp?)

Another idea i had was more exclusive vehicles, as in more cars/planes/bikes that you have to buy to drive. And only a handful of residence in the game has this car and they are the only owners of it, so if there were only 3 of a certain type of car, and you stole the car from the owner, you wont see the same car respawn on their driveway anytime soon. Exclusivity would also be a factor in how people see you, and this would go back to the point i had with the making money by making better deals.

i think there should be:

*a better way of stealh killing because you can't drag the body's away from people you kill

*taking some hostages and be allowed to make a wishlist to get from the cops and if you don't get you just start killing people

*more fighter jets for in air combad

*a last mission where a big war starts and you need to win the war with your country

*a hood like in san andreas i liked the hood and the homies

*better guns and cars

*pickpocketing people

*be able to push people so you can throw them from a cliff or from a dam or even a skyscraper

*more muscle cars like wheelman101 said and be able to tune them up so you can make a wheelie

*instead of the phoenix (car) a nice shelby mustang gt500e out of the movie gone in 60 seconds

*humvee's with big machine guns on the back or even a rocketluncher

*2 or 3 sorts of tanks 1 that is weak and a strong tank and be able to shoot down the tank with an other tank

*be able to put head's from people on pole's to scare others

thats a cool idea but it wont happen. to complicated. but if they do try at the bunkered up house and being on the news and getting watever you want and pretty much controlling the city from your house, they should add ways to escape and bring people with you and get guns and armor and do the thing that they did in devils rejects (the bunkered house with guns and armor).

Also, I wish the interiors were better. Not just more interiors, but interactive interiors with more things to do. You should be able to turn on the TV and catch highlights of your last crime spree on the news being shown in the cinematic camera or the top down view as if it's from a news helicopter. Also, people knocking on your door or just busting in - like cops or hitmen.

It should really immerse you in the criminal lifestyle.

To expand on the building damage idea:

The buildings wil ltake damage evertime something smashes into them. Some chunks of the buidling will fall off when there's enough damage. Fire can break out if something explodes in the building. If the buildings take enough damages, the collapse. A repair team will come and start rebuilding from the wreckage.

Basically, it's like sticking a real building into the game with real world phyisics.

Repair teams will require time ot repair the buildings. When you leave and come back later, the building will be parly finished. The repair team takes different time to rebuild, depending on the size of the structure.

I haven't read all the posts on this forum, so my ideas will probably be the same as others on this thread.

And some of my ideas will overlap with past GTA game features.

1. There should be a near-future or 2005-2007 storyline or a near future storyline. With new cars such as the "Kuruma Hybrid" or "Patriot XX" and other newer cars.

2. The game should take place around the country and there should be a new city. (Your character would have to travel around the country to places like Liberty City, Vice City and San Andreas, and your character would travel via Airplane. You can go to different cities by going to airports and buying plane tickets, or you can sneak into the airport and stowaway on the cargo hold of the planes and risk being wanted by police.

3. Your character should start out in a brand new city, and then later on in the game, your character should be able to travel to other cities.

4. When you go to different cities, radio stations will be different. Liberty City would have Flashback and Rise FM, Vice City would have V-rock and Fever101 and San Andreas would have Bounce FM and K-Rose, ext and the new city would have new radio stations (perhaps channels for Asian music, Modern Country and Heavy metal.

5. In each city, you'll meet "major character." Like in a Post-GTAIII Liberty City, you'll learn that Joey Leoni is running the embattled Leoni Family mafia and you must kick the Yakuza and the Columbian Cartels out of Liberty city once and for all and you are also sent to kill Donald Love (who finally becomes elected Mayor of Liberty City, after his failed election in 1998), you find out that he's behind the Mafia's plight despite the fact he "tried" to help Leoni family back in 1998 (in GTA: LCS)

6. In Vice City, an aged Tommy Vercetti runs his mob in Vice city and then passes away once you beat his missions and then you take control of his mob.

7.In San Andreas, CJ and Wu Zi Mu run a collaberative criminal organization that consists of the SA Triads, the Grove Street gang and the Aztecas. They were once the "good guys" back in 1992, but they have gone corrupt with power since throughout 90's and early 2000's when they enjoying their criminal stranglehold of the whole state of San Andreas. You work with CJ and Woozie for a little while while in SA, but then out of nowhere, your character would be hired by Toreno, who now runs and manages the secret services throughout the country. Toreno eventually sends you on a mission to kill CJ and Wu Zi Mu.

8. For assault rifles, there should be 3 tiers. (Tier 1= Kruger (from Vice City), Tier 2= AK-47, Tier 3= M4)

9. Rifles would have three tiers (Tier 1= Rifle (from San Andreas), Tier 2= Sniper rifle, Tier 3= Automatic Sniper rifle

10. New food places, your character should be able to eat in other places besides Cluckin Bell, Well Stacked Pizza and Burger shot. For example, you character should be able to eat at St. Mark's Bistro, Mama's Resturaunt, Tacoapolyse (in Vice City) and Punk Noodles, ext. And will, like in San Andreas, get fat if the character eats too much.

11. The police and Military should use different weapons when chasing you around. For example, the Police should be armed with pistols, nightsticks and shot guns. Soldiers should be armed with M4s, Grenades and some soldiers would have rocket launchers and soldiers should also use the tank turrets when they chase against you. Soldiers would chase you in not just tanks and transport trucks but also Hum-vees (camoflage Patriots) armed with machine guns.

12. New "gangs" for the new city like the Triple Sword Jihad (Muslim extremist group), Socialist Equality Movement (Pinko gang) and the Hands of God (Far-Right Fundamentalist Christian gang which would be lead by Father Ned and Pastor Richards), ext.
