Earth Kid
How long does everyone rekon it will take to complete all the missions in GTA IV.
GTA Don
Maybe a couple of weeks. Not longer than a month.
rockstarrem
I don't really want to rush through it (although the new Rockstar network thing sounds like a cool leaderboard), I just want to relax and play it, you know? Maybe around a week or so. If I do some side missions, two weeks to a month.

Sixx
As above; I won't really feel the need to rush through it. I'd rather just sit back and take in the games every sweet little detail. Not being able to visit the other islands will be a bit frustrating but MP should gimme my fix
GTA Don
Sure... I believe you...
rockstarrem
24 hours. Sure... I believe you... If he rushes through it he shouldn't have too much trouble.
azn
But then he'll most likely spend the next year or two finding every little detail within the game.
Alkali64
Maybe a week or two... I'm not gonna rush it, and it's near impossible to tell. For the first few hours i'll maybe do a few missions - Violent killing spree - Couple more missions - Violent killing spree... Then i'll probably get stuck on a mission and decide i want to call a friend for a game of bowling. Eventually i'll want to take the chopper for a clear view of LC from the skies... The list go's on and on.
Hansui
maybe never... i'm not concentrated in completing the missions, once i unlocked the features that i like, i would spend my time in it but eventually i will try to finish the missions... Kirby68
Well for the past two games I bought out of the GTA series (LCS and SA), I performed this kinda "stake-out" beat all the missions in one sitting and found that I missed some of the better missions that I enjoyed on the play backthrough. So for GTAIV, I'm thinking I'll keep it at a slow pace to enjoy the game.
Rowie235
Not gonna rush at all. I hear people say that they're gonna take it slow, around 1-2 weeks, but I think I'll take longer than that. Of course once I get it and start playing, I'll never want to put it down, but I'm going to explore the hell out of it in between maybe every 5-6 missions. I think I could do it in a week, but that sucks. Where's the fun?
AIR
Unlike other people im gonna rush through the whole game and then restart and beat it again and then continue enjoying it by playing online.
Dr.Dbl-Gee
Here is my plan in 9 steps: 1) Finish all missions in about 24 - 48 hours 2) Cruise around, mess about and explore 3) Finish all side missions 4) Search for hidden packages and other hidden things and complete bonuses 5) Play online 6) Go on a large killing spree 7) Search for easter eggs 8) Start new game and redo everything in a much more stylish way 9) Destroy the CD This is how i finished Assassins Creed. Blur
I'll guess and say 2-3 weeks. Just want to relax and enjoy chaos. Although since R* is taking a more relastic approach I will try to too. Yeah right. I'm not going to rush threw, but who knows along it can take them maybe theres just one mission at the end thats mad hard and it takes you longer. Although I found all missions fairly easy to complete.
Kitsune Inferno
2 minutes. 16 hours. 6 days. 3 1/2 weeks. 5 months. That sounds about right.
-THE-DEALER-
Well whether it takes 2 minutes or 2 days, i will purposely take a long time to complete missions.....Thats the best way to fully enjoy Grand Theft Auto games....
cfr_rossi
Well i think il never compleate it 100% but il try and do all the missons as fast as i can. but some times i get bord and just go for a drive
azn
Even if you did it would take a helluva long time. I'm so eager to see how Rockstar have mocked the competition and what little surprises they have put in IV.
Earth Kid
it took me about 42 hours to complete San Andreas (which i know is slow ), so im thinking that it will take about 50+ for me to complete gta 4. But im sure alot of people could easily do it in half that time
The Bossman
I'm gonna take it relatively slow, I see no need to rush through just for the accolade of beating GTAIV reasonably quickly. And even then, other people will do the same thing, which sort of ruins the point of it. I want to explore every area, memorise the shortcuts and just have fun doing it. I still don't get bored driving around every city in all the previous GTA games, so this will take me an absolute age to finish.
mutu
The way I play the game it will take a long time, I don't know how long but I like to explore and stuff between the missions. But if I played only mission I might be able to complete it in a couple of weeks.
fatalgamer
I think it'll take about three weeks, thats if i just run around and look at the sights alot between missions. I kinda wanna be one of the first, obviously not the first, but one of the first to beat it, for the Rockstar Social Club.
Red_91
Some people are going to complete this game too quick, I am taking my time, so for me about 6 months hopefully but saying that it will probably be 3 months.
Blur
100% completation - 1 year. Me too this will take me longer than I typed about 3 months. Slow, but fun. Edited April 11, 2008 by totalaccessGTA
