I still find it quite simple to tell if its sarcasm. At GTA Forums, is it common to just get banned straight away? I have never been on there but I have heard that they are so dodgy when it comes to banning people. I may have to have look.

I was banned on GTAF coz me and some Bulgarian had a debate about Macedonia in some thread, so I was temp banned for 3 days (also for posting random off topic things) So then I made a new account jOkEr_xD and started using that.... and I continued the debate with that account so then I was banned on both accounts.

Ever since then I've been coming back like once a month, and sometimes I get banned on the first day, sometimes It lasts a month lol.

Let's be honest here...

You helped drag that thread off-topic with a debate-war complete with YouTube video, for which I believe you were warned, but you were banned because the next day you went on another spam jaunt... this little gem is the straw that broke the camel's back. The Staff got tired of it. But still, you only got a temp ban.

Coming back to continue spamming things up didn't help your case either. Circumventing your "time out" is what got you banned on both accounts.

Looking at your post history, we can see you had a habit of popping off one-liner spam, unwarranted comments, and other off-topicness.

They're "strict" over there because you're just one of a thousand other knuckleheads acting the same way. No time to coddle 'em all, nahmeen?

Granted, there have been a few (and I do mean ONLY a few) bad moderators there, but an examination of those who complain about being warned/banned will show a similar pathos.

Just sayin'.

I've seen at least one poster in this thread who recognizes why he was bamped, and has come to terms with it. These are the kind of folks who are frequently let back in if they want. But you play like habibi, and of course your IP will be blocked.

Do you honestly think I give a darn if someone of your stature (I say this word with every ounce of snark contained within my tiny body) thinks having a lax attitude is a detriment to this site? Obviously, I do or I wouldn't be responding, but that's beside the point. I'm sorry we're not bustling enough for you, but consider that a good chunk of the longtime members are too concerned trying to get an education or feed themselves to post that much about Grand Theft Auto, especially with a lull of information pertaining to the franchise. Despite the inactivity compared to a year ago, I rather enjoy the tight-knit community we've built here, especially out of the "rejects" as you would call them. The rejects who, through careful moderation and a thoughtful community, matured into decent netizens; I certainly became more polite, though I admit I could use a few more anger-management courses. It should go without saying, but I'm not representative of a typical TGTAP member. I just get away with being so easily-annoyed because of a regrettable subforum we did away with years ago. Either that or the mods are asleep, attending a university, getting laid in the West, or what have you.

He admitted to making several off-topic posts, that was all I needed to ignore him. Then came the revelation he was a sock-puppet using cretin. More importantly, what do you care if such an inactive forum had a former GTAF member attempt to demonize the staff and utterly fail because everything in his post indicated he deserved it? Even on the off chance we were stupid enough to buy into his bullshit, we would've forgotten about by now considering it was a year ago.

That's a lot more than just "bringing a little more truth" to habibi's story.

His illustration looks like nothing more than an excuse for you to make an account and try to demoralize our community because you can't help yourself do anything better. I have no idea if people in other GTA forums talk badly about us, but there's the thing: I DON'T KNOW. Unlike you, I don't go out of my way and lurk around other peoples' forums as a guest, and when I see anything that's less than polite regarding my site, I don't go and make an account so I can talk trash to them for a couple days.

That would describe one CharmingCharlie, and he's been dealt with. The average Staffer there is pretty respectful these days. If someone gets some hot words in their inbox, it's likely they earned them.
