You need an Audio editor & to identify the sound bit you want to change. In Vice City, I installed a beautiful MFP copcar (from the original "Mad Max") that had new engine & siren sounds. I wish I could be of more help but at least this should put you in the right direction.

Screen resolution 1024 x 768 & 32 bit color, everything else is default for my video. For in game settings (GTASA) the only things I've reset are the controller options, the rest is as it installed. Have not messed w/ framerates, overclocking or any of that. By "flies", I mens the video is smooth, loads are quick. The only video glitch I see is the slow render (the occasional tree you don't see till you hit it), but it's still better than the PS2 version. Hope this clears things up, if not you know where to find me.

I'm thinking your weather gets alot like mine (Midwest US). If you can afford it, build the dog house w/ double walls (inside & outside). if you can put 3/4" or thicker Styrofoam insulation between them, it'll be a lot warmer. A piece of carpet over the door also helps. It also helps if you put it next to the foundation of your house (if it has one). You will catch heat from the house. It also helps to put it on the side that gets the most sun. Stay warm.

When he got there he would check it in w/ his teacher & pick it up after school so he could shoot rabbits for dinner on the way home. He was 10 & this was a small town in Kansas (but not Smallville). Times have really changed.

Try the download section, GTA SA & look under maps & on other sites as well. I know there are some Island mods floating around. These are usually done by editing the .IPL files in your DATA/MAPS folder. If you're comfortable w/ data edits you can play around a little with some of these mode. STEP 1 - BACKUP EVERY FILE YOU PLAN TO EDIT!!! The simplest way is to open them w/ wordpad, but there are also IPL editing tools out there. Good Luck.

It occurred that people here might be curious to see what kind of weapons people actually own. Rather than just dive in I thought it would be best to get a feel for people's thoughts on this first. If you've got the money for a good prebuilt machine, that's great. Someone reading this might not, and are on a tight budget. Not knocking the new machines. And on a new machine, make sure there's room to upgrade, like a better CPU or Video Card down the road. I had an IBM Aptiva (go ahead, get it out of your system, I hated it too) that used an "All In Wonder" board that had everything onboard & no slots for better audio or video. Also the new machines are shipped w/ Windows Vista so you're stuck w/ all the headaches of sorting a new OS.

You guys mentioned the Peds Riot cheat, R* intentionally made the game so using cheats corrupt the save files. If you have a save from before you used cheats it might work. Good looking out Rashon125 & Whitaker. Good luck.
