  1. Take-Two & R* put a lot of work into GTA, they deserve to make a little money for it. I had a couple years of computer programming & speaking as someone who has looked at GTASA'a script there's a lot to making a game work. They just spent 6 months making sure the version they thought was finished would work on both launch consoles & the multi-player would also work. If they find the source of the pirated version, polish your resumes. There WILL be an opening at R* or TT.
  2. Legitimate answer to a legitimate question. Welcome & read the rules. People are gonna love your "demo". (Yes, that was sarcasm. The rick-rolling has gotten old. At least your link didn't lock up my computer.)
  3. They probably don't get to the Russian Federation very often.
  4. They live in sin under the statue of happiness, duh!
  5. I've been looking at this & appearently it has to do w/ the way the model (DFF) is mapped, thanks to RanxoraX for the headsup on that. This means you have to edit the model itself & not just the TXD. Who's good w/ Zmodeler?
  6. PS: The great ones never die, long live SRV. Back to topic.
  7. Hope it leans heavily towards muscle cars. The Jap Tuners have kinda been run into the ground. Idea for DLC, Aussie Muscle cars. Tell me you'd turn your nose up at a '73 Falcon XB or a sweet Holden Ute.
  8. Good call, don't want to lose your job over it. Just give the $$$ to a friend & have them in the store at midnight Monday to pick it up for you if you're working. (Presuming it's a 24 hr store.) Were there any special editions in the shipment?
  9. Talk to you later, I got expensive trash to buy.
  10. Yes, VC works on my XP machine (except for a bad video card & all the high-res cars I put in). I suggested setting the compatibility to Win98 because that's what I originally had when I first installed VC.
  11. Those cars look nice, especially like the 'Stang (kind of a given). The guy driving the new Challenger looks like Niko.
  12. On that subject, is there a downgrader for V3 yet?
  13. L-RiC - Good on you, they're not supposed to warranty opened X360s but the whole RROD thing has been one epic screw-job. Someone asked about the Rlu-ray, according to Sony's website, the Blu-ray will hold 50 GIG - http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores...ategoryId=16192
  14. I'm listening to "Pop MuziK" by M Factor, circa 1978 while I watch this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybjH7qRT37k OUTLAW DOUBLE POST!!! Later, I'm outta here.
  15. Tonight's top story, Riley Freeman eats lead paint chips & makes crappy You-Tube video. This is why you shouldn't let retards play w/ the internet.
  16. I tried using a small hammer to tap them flat again, but that didn't work....... Seriously, I've got a good hardware guy who's dayjob is building circuit boards. He fixed it on a break at work. Sorry I can't be more help but one of the other guys should have a source. I did a quick search for CAPACITORS & got this - http://www.elecdir.com/site/store/1823/index.html
  17. I'm running XP, but you can see if this works on Vista. Try right-clicking on the icon & pick PROPERTIES, look for the tab COMPATIBILITY & try setting it for Win 98.
  18. SUPPOSEDLY X360s made after Sept. '07 were re-engineered to eliminate the RROD, & MS announced the 3-year extended warranty on all X360s (as long as the case wasn't opened). Advantage PS3 - N-vidia 72 graphics & Blu-Ray. Earlier models are backwards compatible to PS2 games. Advantage X360 - Massive DLC for GTA4. Both have exclusive games. Currently I have the X360 Elite, plan on getting the PS3 later this year.
  19. I'll wait & see that I hear about SP3, so far Jace is one of the few good comments I've heard about Vista (I'm guessing the new comp is loaded). Late last year John Dvorak blasted MS & Vista for having so many versions. For those unfamiliar, Dvorak is to PCs much like what Henry Ford was to automobiles. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2209837,00.asp
  20. That makes sense, I had the same kind of problem when I put satellite radio in my van. It turned out the power cord was only letting through half the amperage it needed. It work for a little bit & just quit.
  21. More uslessful info - In the late '80s, Japanese scientists invented a food made from raw sewage. I'll just let that lay there & smell bad, later.
