Well, it's obviously the 5th choice. Gamecube simply can't handle it. Plus, well, being the game overflows the PS2 and Xbox discs, how the hell do you think it's gonna fit on a disc that can hold 1/4 the capactiy. Plus the gamecube doesn't have enough controller buttons! But, setting all those things that make this port impossible asside, would you buy it for the cube?

If it were possible, hell yes I would get it. The Cube, although it doesn't have a fast enough GPU, is the only 2nd Gen console to use an incredible type of mapping (bump or specular, I forget which). This mapping makes Prince of Persia the best visually out of the three versions. So, even though the game would never be possible, it would have some great effects that the others wouldn't.

I'm thinking maybe eventually another developer will get ahold of the GTA: VC or GTA3 license and port it to GC. However, they would have to strip something out, maybe some weapons, maybe some cars, and probably all of the extras like the minigames and the Arena. Also I'm sure hidden packages would be out, and probably outfit changes too. With all of this out, I'm sure VC would run on a Cube, although you'd have to downgrade a bit the quality of the textures.

Man, that's a lot of explaining for something that'll never happen.

Well, for the game to only take up 1.6 GB of data, they'd have to take out every FMV and all the music. Anyways, the PS2 and Xbox have more advanced GPU's than Gamecube. Gamecube has more memory and a fast prossesor. The fact is that Gamecube's GFX card is made by ATi and can only display 12,000 ploygons per second, not enough for GTA.

I dont think it should be on GC anyway, if you look at the range of games already available, how many of them are actually of the same genre? not very many at all. The majority are platformers or cartoon adventure stuff, ok so there are simulation games and some violent ones (Resident evil) but I cant ever see it being on Gamecube

The game would never go on gamecube theyed have to take out alot of stuff. i got reasons why its not on ganecube, 1. the disc is so small, it could barely even put the vc map on it 2.the controls, it would not have enuff buttons and 3. kids use gamecube, why would somebody wanna play mario games all day long and kids dont play rated Ms right. Last timei played true crime on ps2 and it was good, the on gamecube the buldings and roads kept dissapearing cause the gc disc was so small and it keep on freezing.PS: I hate nintendo products and gc have only like 20 m games.

The majority of games on GC are for kids but that doesn't mean that you can't have 18s on it. And there would be no problem with the controller as you would lose the radio station button and change viws but this could then be on the start menu, and I think anyone who want GTA on GC would make these small sacrifices.

GTA was intended for the PS and sony consoles, but luckily for us the PC and XBOX users (I play just in PC), the games came out for both, I doubt it will come someday to a Nintendo Console (after the fraud of the GTA Advance), mostly because the problems between nintendo and Sony, I know GTA is made by Rocksar, part of Take 2, I think Sony would pay Take2 to take away GTA from the GC.

And now that Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo and soon to release new consoles, the chances of GTA in GC are well, 1/10000000000000.
