Although its a cool bike, there are two problems with it. 1) In reality the bike part would just roll around the inside of the wheel. Countermeasures could be introduced but if you were starting and stopping there's nothing to stop you being jerked round it. 2) What would happen if you touched the wheel whilst the bike was moving, there doesn't appear to be any protection. What about tall people too? 3) Visibility is an issue - having a wheel in your face doesnt let you see very far ahead. Having a big wheel guard too would be even worse.

That's a good idea, better than doing those quizzes that were there for years. It's also better to do it now that records are held, rather than just the first people to get there getting the reward. If it gets active (a lot of people playing the games), then perhaps there should be a reward for holding onto a record for a large length of time. Yeah, things aren't working yet. That's why we don't advise that you use the store or gang system yet. The Gang System is currently in Beta status, which means that its fully coded (to this new IPB) but isn't fully tested yet (will be problems that need fixing). You can use the gang system, but we're working on improving it before we hype it all up again. You may not yet be aware that Crimson is now our Gang System Supervisor, which means he looks after the system and is the point of contact for any issues with that. His job kinda includes the store and things for now. The Store is currently in Alpha status, which means that it is only an early version of the store. It practically works but has lots missing and lots of glitches and bugs. You basically can't use it well enough yet. We'll let you know when these things get finished.

1) Is it plugged in, and turned on? There's sometimes a switch next to the fan on the back that stops it turning on, double check that. 2) Have you been fiddling around with its insides recently? If you have you'll need to check that everything is in place, and try turning it on with a screwdriver (connect the two power pins) but ONLY if you actually know how.

The entire world? I mean it is possible that they do a mini-scale version of the world, with one city from each big country and a small town/village/countryside for each little country. I reckon that would be alright, but then you lose the chance to have a recurring theme and vast expanses. But absolutely no chance of having a full-scale country never mind the entire world. We don't delete members. At all. At the most, we ban them. If we deleted a member, their posts would get messed up, as they didn't belong to any particular user. I'm in favour of deleting accounts that have never posted, but that would seriously affect the member count and numbering system.

Yeah a lot of people think its really simple, just draw it and paint it and save it. Really isnt that simple. Many experienced people spend weeks making cars (some take months perfecting them). You need to make the 3D model, texture it, add animations for the doors if you need to, export the model, combined textures and collision files (which often means you have to go into several other programs), then make the correct handling/ide/carcols/carmods data that works best.

That's exactly what I'm hoping for. Not just the-same-but-a-bit-better, but everything actually being new, with the same taste and basic gameplay of the previous versions. Games that have been almost identical: GTA3, Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City Stories, Vice City Stories = 5 Hopefully not a San Andreas Stories coming soon, I doubt the PSP would handle that (even though the same PS2 that GTA3 was on was made to handle SA).

I think Europe is much more likely to become one country with states than North America. One of the issues is representation, for example in sporting events. The US gets one team when it has the choice of the athletes in the equivalent of fifty small countries, whereas the Netherlands only has a handful to pick from.

Yes thats it. If i remember correctly, the "load" button doesn't work like you'd expect. You need to copy and paste the address of american.gxt into that field then click "load". eg: C:\program files\rockstar games\grand theft auto vice city\text\american.gxt paste that into the box click load scroll down to infernus in the right box if its there edit the text below click rename on the right hand side click apply click save

If you open american.gxt in the /text/ folder (in your VC install directory) you can edit the text ingame. Search for "infernus" and change it to "ferrari" (or whatever) and you'll see the change in the game when you get in the infernus. Bear in mind that many words appear twice or more (like Police) so make sure you figure out which is which.

Yeah that sounds about right. A sprite is an independent graphic object controlled by its own bit plane. In my understanding (which isnt in any great detail) a sprite is a floating flat 2D image that you see in 2D always, as if it's following you around.

In San Andreas, in the menu, go to "options" then "audio" then "user tracks" then choose "scan user tracks". That will add the music files to the game radio. If you listen to the "user tracks" station, you'll hear them. If you turn on "automatic user tracks scan" it will check for new music files every time you run the game.
