Does the patch do anything besides fix the server issue? RELATED TOPIC: I'm on X360 & when I get into ranked matches I can't adjust any of the settings like time, map or any other options (even when the crown appears next to my name in the PLAYERS list, supposedly indicating that I'm hosting the game). Are any of the other X360 players having this problem? Have the PS3 players run into this?

Try a Disc Doctor or similar device to fix your disc. If you can't find one, take it to a game shop & see if they can re-surface the disc. I had good luck w/ this in the past fixing PS2 games after kids scratched them up.

The vehicle sidework. I loved unwinding by taking taxi or firetruck missions & killing am afternoon. Realism should include being able to buy a couple buildings or build some kind of business for a regular income.

Yes, your original savehouse parking space still works, I have my Comet (from Brucie) & a freeway parked there. In Bohan I have Little Jacob's Huntly Sport & a Zombie & at the nice apartment Roman bought I have a white Contender & a green Stallion courtesy of one of the random characters. I haven't opened Playboy X's place yet but have a Patriot from one of his missions there. Each space is confirmed to hold 2 vehicles when I shut down & re-load but I have held 2 cars & 2 bikes in Broker while playing. Just move 2 outside the space when saving.

Off to Liberty. The weather here is crappy so I'm not wasting any of my 2-day XBL codes (yes, I have a connection). Later.

I think rem is on to something. Officially TGTAP is one clan & internally we maintain our gangs for sparring & quick action. It would be like different units of a military playing war games. I think I hate flood control, took 4 attempts for the forum to accept my post. Back to topic. I don't know if I'm using FF3, but FF keeps doing auto upgrades & the last one is letting in pop-ups directly from Mozilla. In itself not so bad but every time I do a search I get some BS pop-up that delays just so I end up clicking on it when I'm looking for something. The best part is that when I close them they lock up my browser half the time & I have to shut down & restore the session. I think the last version of FF worked & they shouldn't "fix" things that work. Other than that it's just wonderful.

BP Patriot = TOTALLY RULES!!! I keep that one at Witchata Gardens & save it for the last mission (after you meet Catalina), I am untouchable in it.

I have a few map mods I DL'd (IPL edits) that place ENEXs & they work fairly well, so you don't have to place them in MAIN.SCR if you don't want to unless you want to turn them on/off for specific missions. Don't know if that helps but might save a little work.

Correct. Sunshine autos as we know from VC is being built in VCS. In VCS it's a dirt lot next to the construction site. As you complete missions reward cars can be bought (bought, WTF!?) there.

First off, welcome & enjoy. If you haven't already, take a minute to read the rules & check out the layout of the site. For my X360, I have a shelf cleared off & bottle caps (like 20 oz. Coke or 2-liter) under each corner for airflow. I also added an auxiliary cooling fan added. The AF is a little noisy for the first couple minutes & sometimes it keeps running when I shut the console down. Unplugging the controller usually stops this. The shelf it's on is near an exterior window w/ a fan blowing out. As I understand, X360s made after Sept. 07 are supposed to have the upgrades built in to prevent RROD.

On X360 it's the same button that buys hotdogs & changes clothes (left bumper). You just have to be close enough to a taxi for it to work. Try hailing a cab when Niko is drunk, that's funny. It probably works similar to that on PS3.

Just got the Elite, doesn't include the kit itself. You get a # & they will send one free on request. Had RROD on my original X360 (bought rent-to-own) that weren't resolved, RTO place finally replaced it w/ an Elite after they lost my old one.

Get the "top down" GTAs directly from R* for free.
