GTA4 Gang Ideas

Please don't get pissed at me if this was already somewhere on the forums. I sure didn't see it.

What kind of gang would you like to see in the next GTA? Include title, number of members, what their "business" is (i.e., robbery, gun smuggling, protection, etc.), who their leader is, what part of the city they control (the docks, Chinatown, Little Italy, those kind of things...), and what their 'uniform' is.

Well for a start we need the Mafia, the Yakuza, and the Russian Mafia. All impeccably dressed as per usual. I don't know what else to say about them but they should definitely be in the game.

I hate them too, but in the game perhaps they could be rivalled by every other gang and we eventually wipe them out or something....

Because they are nothing but an irritation. One that, while fun to take out, shouldn't be brought in, in the first place. It brings alot of joy to kill those little asswipes, but killing herds of big Mafia men, just feels more powerful. I'm sure you'll agree with me there.

I think there should be the classic gangs for starters, the Leone Family Mafia, The Yakuza and the Russian gang(I never played that GTA, but I heard they were a major part of the story).

After that, I think there should be a redneck gang - grows illegal drugs in the woods and sells them underground to people

Well the gangs were a bit annoying but that was when you were directly associated with them. For example, when you were doing Triad jobs in SF, the Rifa wasn't really that much of a bother, was it? I'm saying that we should keep the gangs in but just on the sidelines, maybe a mission or two, not a direct commitment and keep the focus on mafias.

id like to see a gang like the mafia, all sofisticated in suits etc. Probably the farrez theyre the fastest growing gang in europe and it would be easy for missions because they do everything from extaushion to drug dealing. There Albanian and have no sense of ethics like triads. I think they should be in suits but slightly more casual than the mafia with a t-shirt underneath not a shirt. Maybe hang out at the docks like the one in sanandreas's mission for 10penny where u stop the russian deal.

Alright little boy, grow up some, THEN come back and talk. The use of PERIODS would really make your postsentence easier to read. Stop trying to act gangsta on an internet message board, you don't get respect or attention for it. You get laughed at and ridiculed. Infact, in real life I laugh at you. Don't make me start my whole anti-ghetto protest again, as most people here know I feel extremely strong about it. I have such a deep hatred for it.

I think San Andreas shows the versatility of GTA games. I think this is a good opportunity to have more control over the future of the storyline. If you killed somebody, they shouldn't come back. For example gang leaders, if they die their gang should do something, like appoint a new leader, or riot or something. So you should be able to chop and change gangs and friends by who you please and who you kill.

i think the gangs should be more realistic and independent in da next gta 4 an example gangs should have turf wars by themselves without me having 2 start them and rival gangs should do drive-bys on u and break into your house and try 2 kill u and they should do hits on u or hire an assasinator 2 kill u or and XENON YOUR IDEAS ARE OFF THE CHAIN also let say a rival gang have u trap u should be able to call 4 back up

one thing i really missed in gta:sa was gang cars. they should defenitely bring that back in the 4th game

i also think they should have an amish town with horses and plows etc

I think there should be all kind of gangs, but if I had to choose one I'd say to play the story of a biker gang..

Triads: 50-100

various street gangs: members 10-50 they have been overun by killings murders assainations and the big time gangs.

It would be great if you could start your own mafia in the game and you can choose what clothes they wear and what cars they drive, and the gang AI is so smart they can customize their own cars and things like that, also you should be able to choose one guy to be your main guy and that main guy can have guys carry out orders. This is GTA4 and in GTA4 we need to think next gen.
